Develop branding for a sustainable Wisconsin based 4th generation outdoor sock company by understanding the needs and wants of customers and retailers through positioning and research.
Why "roots"?
Our feet connect us to the Earth like how roots connect trees; They're our foundation and support us no matter the terrain or activity.
Whether wearing shoes or not, sock provide support to our feet by making them comfortable and protecting them from sores and injuries.​​​​​​​
Preliminary packaging research
I went to several outdoor retailers to review different sock packaging and sock displays as well as understand the environment in which socks are presented. 
I interviewed knowledgable employees to gain a better understanding of users Packaging design flaws.
Solving packaging issues
After interviewing outdoor industry retailers, I found and identified issues with current sock packaging and designed my packaging to resolve those concerns.
